The initiative aims to sensitize Gram Panchayat Presidents and Secretaries across the country about the importance of Indian standards and the benefits of using products that conform to these standards.BIS has already reached out to over 2.4 lakh Gram Panchayats and has provided them with booklets of important and useful Indian standards.
