BIS Recruitment 2023: Management Executive Positions Open, Check Eligibility, Salary, and Application Process

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has released a notification for the recruitment of Management Executives on a contract basis. According to the official BIS Recruitment 2023 announcement, eligible Indian candidates are invited to apply for these positions. The selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of two years, which may be extended for an additional year. BIS reserves the right to revoke the engagement of Management Executives at any time, with or without cause, by providing them with a 30-day notice. Similarly, if an officer decides to resign, they must give a 30-day notice in advance or payment in lieu of notice.

There are two vacancies available for the post of Management Executives, with one vacancy each for SCMD and TNMD departments. Interested candidates should possess an Engineering Graduate degree along with an MBA in Finance/Marketing/HR/General.

Applicants are required to have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Government/Statutory/Autonomous Body/Public Sector Undertaking/reputed Government agency/Private Sector Organization with countrywide operations.

The maximum age limit for candidates applying for the Management Executive positions is 45 years.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 1.50 lakh, subject to statutory deductions. Additionally, a 5% annual raise of the total monthly compensation is permissible based on performance and evaluation. No TA/DA will be provided for commencing or concluding the assigned tasks. In cases where travel is necessary as part of official assignments, a regular BIS officer of Level Sc-B will receive TA/DA and accommodation allowances.

The tenure for the appointed Management Executives will initially be two years, with the possibility of a one-year extension. BIS reserves the right to terminate the engagement of Management Executives by giving a 30-day notice. If an officer wishes to resign, they must also provide a 30-day notice in advance or payment in lieu of notice.

The selection process for BIS Recruitment 2023 will involve a personal interview. The screening committee will review all applications and shortlist candidates based on the eligibility criteria. BIS retains the right to reject any or all applications without providing a reason.
